Jack's Story

Jack was diagnosed at 16 months of age when his parents kept wondering why he wasn’t developing age appropriately and why he couldn’t sleep through the night.  His ENT doctor pegged the fact he had a lysosomal storage disease, and although he thought it was Hurler Syndrome or MPS I, we found out 2 weeks later that it was Hunter Syndrome, MPS II.  Jack's life was eventful – filled with surgeries, infusions, trials, and therapies. Through it all he continued to smile. Our precious, handsome, courageous boy Jack Teagan Fowler, took his last breath on Earth March 29, 2022 and passed peacefully in his sleep.
